"Ever Ready With Our Lives" stands as Singapore's first permanent anamorphic installation, proudly showcased at National Service Association, SAFRA Chua Chu Kang. The unique anamorphic quality of the sculpture is revealed through a juxtaposition of its front and side views.
This specially commissioned installation goes beyond the conventional, introducing an augmented reality (AR) feature that vividly unfolds the narrative of the Mobilisation Man – a devoted national service soldier always prepared to safeguard his homeland. The Mobilisation Man takes on various forms, seamlessly transitioning from a civilian persona to embody representatives from each of the four military divisions.
Within this immersive AR experience, done on Spark AR, the spirit of the civilian man emerges organically from the anamorphic sculpture, while the service members representing the four military divisions (modelled and animated by our in-house 3D designer) dynamically surround the Mobilisation Man. This captivating portrayal captures the essence of readiness and dedication embedded in the narrative, making "Ever Ready With Our Lives" a groundbreaking and thought-provoking installation at SAFRA Chua Chu Kang.
